Land of Enchantment

I drove all day yesterday, far longer than I thought I would. Far longer than I probably should have. My parents called me maybe five times to make sure I was okay, and to make sure I was going to stop to get some rest! I made it as far as Amarillo. Almost entirely out of Texas.

 The sun shined all day, a far cry from yesterday's rain and shitty sleet. It was very windy driving up the mountains, though. My wrists hurt from gripping the steering wheel so hard.

I drove through Albuquerque, which seems like a great livable city. I attempted to eat Mexican food in Holbrook - I miss Tex-Mex food already! One thing I'll definitely miss about Texas. Maybe the only thing.
